Wink got my 02 dynoed, figured i would tell

Had 2 runs, these are run at standard, sae was like 5 hp diff, didn't get a print out of it at sae correction.

max power = 330.2 max torque = 344.4
max power = 329.3 max torque = 366.1 from the shift into 4th.
dyno started too soon, actual
is 345

air/fuel on the 2nd run was 13 at 3600 and 12.5 at 6200, pretty stait from 3600 to 6200, no spikes.

hmmm, thats odd...
Why would someone shift during a pull while its reading?

I dont quite understand that.. I have seen tons of pulls and they always shift to get into the right gear, then they jump to full throttle.

I thought M6 cars had 4th as 1:1 and the autos were 3rd 1:1

Just seems a little odd.. Maybe I am not reading what you stated properly...

CAGS, Computer Aided Gear Selection. On a M6(six speed) F-Body, this little PITA makes the driver shift from 1st to 4th under certain conditions(locking out 2nd and 3rd gears). This is so GM could sell these cars, and keep emissions low enough to avoid the Gas Guzzler tax.

forgot the s, its gets rid of the computer assisted gear shift in the 6 speed, cags elliminator.

It was a 4th gear punch, on an underground dyno, I thought it was from the shift, but i don't know, maybe its the whole static thing. It's just at the beginning of the graph (3300 rpm's) it starts at 366.1 in torque and 230 hp, then in at 3400 it drops to 310 torque and about 207 hp. Don't know why it did that, just figured it was the shift, but then i dont think he shifted at 3000. So in about 100 rpm's it drops that quick. Figured maybe he started the dyno too soon. First time to see a dyno so i don't know a whole lot about it. Hell i had to drive to SA to get it dynoed. Pretty fun seeing 3 2002's playing fallow the leader for 140 miles.

Plus i got about 24000 miles on it, got it in june of 2001, so it is fully broken in.

again i was pretty impressed, out of the three we had an 02 m6 with a bullet muffler run about 311 rwhp and 322 torque at 4000 miles, he posts on here so we'll see if we read this. Then an 02 m6 fully decked out SS with center exhuast, slp issued lid(never seen this one before), bilstien, auburn rear, he ran almost identical numbers to me with 9000 miles. There were more f-bods, but those are the numbers from the 3 of us from corpus. I think they are posting the rest of the numbers in the texas forum, as SA dyno day.

ok i think i know what the drop is, i didn't even think of it till now, when he punched it, the car jumped alot, maybed its b/c it was tied down as tight as it should have been. What scared me was before the 1st run when he punched it at 3000 the car acted like it hit the rev limiter. Then it ran fine.
