Post Grinding Noise

I just noticed a grinding noise recently when I did a stall up to about 1000rpm on my stock converter. It never did it before and it seems to be coming from the front of the car so I was wondering what it could be.

Stock for now until I decide what to install.

This may sound stupid. I assume you did this with the brakes applied. It could be you front brakes slipping. Just a hunch. By the way, good taste in automibiles. (see sig)
I've only seen one maroon Z28 since I got mine.
