Post Grrr, more turn signal woes

Ok this is making me feel a little rediculous. Finally got around to replacing the burned signal bulb I had (front amber, underneath the headlights not side marker). Works fine, everything is ok...except it still won't blink. Rear lights are fine so that isn't causing any trouble, I can't think of anything that would cause the bulb to function normally yet not flash. Is there something that needs to be reset that I'm missing? Lol, I did't think something so simple could make me feel like a dumbass .

Have you tried replacing the Blinker Fuse?

Well, tried swapping the hazards fuse and the blinker fuse with no luck. hazards still worked and the left blinker still stuck so it's not the fuse itself. could something have fried in the fuse box possibly?
