I was on Lingenfelter's website and saw that they had a package that would boost a LS1's horsepower up to 405 horsepower. I was wondering if anybody has had it done or knows of anybody that had it done? I was wondering how fast it would do the quartermile time in with the 405 horsepower and engine durability?

 

Honestly, that package is nothing special I don't remember what LPE is using, but you can get similar output by using CNC heads, Cam (CompStage II), headers and an air intake.
Don't get me wrong, LPE does good work, but their price and waiting list is enough to stop most people.
I personally don't know of any tuner in Nebraska, but I bet if you check around you can find someone who can do the same work semi-locally

 

the thing about LPE is the quality of the workmanship and the consistancy.....they do great work....and yes you may be able to get similar results with some parts you can buy and work you can do yourself....but the LPE badge is also about prestige for some people(im not really about that) however, i doubt you could get the same power that LPE can with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty!!!!!! the stand behind their work staunchly

I have personally witnessed some of their twin turbo vettes in action...impressive workmanship and sick performance
