I was looking into heads for the 99 and I came across some information on New LS6 CNC ported heads from Gm racing , these heads ar not the stock ls6 heads 12480176 but a new # 88958622 and are fully cnc ported/machined with the new light weight 02 valves and double springs . The specs that I saw were that these were designed by Gm Racing for use on C5 scca cars, with the maximum flow rate for cams in the .525 to .550 range . and they are about 900 each ..

For me this seems like a killer setup for my cam wich falls in that range , but Ive seen only one set of dyno numbers on a bone stock vette and it picked up 30 rwhp with stock cam/exhaust ..

So I seek the collective wisdom , anyone ? or can anyone recomend a set of heads that provides a great match for a hotcam car with ATI procharger
