Headers and o2 codes

I'm putting lts in later this week and am expecting the post cat and air codes. However is the front o2 begin to display the slow switching codes for he sensor what can does it necessarily mean? Will the car still run ok or will the slow switching affect the performance by making it run in closed loop.

Pick up a new set of o2 sensors. You'll need them in a week or two. The coating on the headers will burn off and destroy the o2's. Even the non-coated headers I installed destroyed the o2 sensors after about 2 weeks of driving. You really dont want to drive around on bad o2 sensors because you will dirty up your engine and clog the cats if you drive too long on them. You should be fine once you install new ones.

Oh I forgot to mention the headers and ory are used so I dont think the burnoff will be an issue. My sensors are also only a couple months old. But I have heard of people having the codes even with new sensors, so I was just wondering if the 133 and 153 slow switch codes are dentramental to performance, from what I gather the sensors still work they just take longer to switch modes? Most tuners just turn the code off along with the post cats and air codes when they tune for the headers so I suppose it means its not a big deal?

Most tuners turn off the codes from the rear cats, AIR, and EGR.

Off-road Y-pipes don't come with rear-o2 bungs anyway.

It's really a moot point.

I was referring to the frot o2 sensors as Ive heard that the cooler egt's of the lt's will make the o2's not unction correctly causing the above slow switching codes just wondering if they are detrimental to performance.

I've never heard of that. I've had 5 LS1s with LT headers and I've never seen that. That code (113x or whatever) sometimes points to a header leak freaking out the front O2.
