Talking Help Me Plan my Car's Future

Well I cannot decide what I would like to do with my car in the future. So I need some help.

Ok... My mods are in my sig. I would like to stick to performance options, no appearence things. Whatever I do must be completely California legal, meaning no LT headers, and I need to pass emmisions.

The car is a daily driver during the school months, but during the summer doesn't do much. I don't want a strip car, because rarely will I ever go to the strip. I don't want to go along the lines of forced induction or nitrous oxide either.

Basically I was thinking heads and cam, but don't know if it will squeak by emmisions testing. Or I could go along the lines of getting every bolt on avaliable. By the end of summer, I should have about $2000 saved up to put into the car.

So go ahead and give me suggestions on what to buy and when. Ask me any questions if you have any. Oh, and suspension and chassis suggestions are accepted, but lowering the car is out of the question.

Thanks a lot!!!

Drop a 150 shot in there. Lower it 2 inches. Throw some headers in. Done.

Just kidding, nice ride.

I wouldn't do anything to it. I'd take the 2 g's and go to the strip club.

Sweet ride

Ok first I'd replace flowcrapper err excuse me flowmaster with dynomouth or loudmouth (I reccomend dynomouth but since you do not want headers you'd do fine with loudmouth too). This should gain you 12hp with either setup.

Second if your not paranoid of HL then get a SSRA ram air kit for an extra 13hp (won't show on dyno but at 50mph plus you'll have them). Just remember to use a blockoff when you drive in rain and it'll be fine.

Third I'd pickup and asp pulley for another 7hp.

Finally I'd get a STB & SFC for suspension.

So we have:

Dynomouth $150.00

SSRA ram air $200.00

ASP pulley $200.00

STB & SFC $400.00

total $950.00 (we'll round to an even $1,000)

Now take the other thousand and spend it at a strip club
