Help for a newbie?
Hi all,
I just bought a 1998 camaro from a family member--WHAT A CAR! It's a beautiful red Z-28 (5.7L, 6 speed), but I don't know how to tell if it's an SS, and frankly, my sister didn't either (the seller). Can someone tell me how to do this? I'd love to drop a pic in here, but don't know how!
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
H. Scott

Wow, thanks a lot folks; you're great.
My car is NOT an SS then. It does have a raised rear spoiler, as well as the ground effects schtuff (making it look closer to the ground). I presume this is what I saw elsewhere called the "Sports Appearance Package." No holes in the hood whatsoever though.
Sure drives like a dream! What WAS I thinking driving Honda's all these years???
Thanks again,
H. Scott
