Help, SES after SLP Fan switch install.

Help, SES after SLP Fan switch install.
I dont really understand what happened. I hooked up the manual fan switch and it works great. The car runs great and everyting works. The only problem I ran into was that I blew the fuse for the Cig Lighter/Accessory. I replaced the fuse (all other fuses were ok) But the SES will not go off.
How can I reset my PCM? I disconnected the battery after I replaced the fuse with no luck.
Thx

I've had mine in for over a month and had no problems, maybe you installed it wrong?

To reset the PCM:
Turn key on, don't start car
Pull PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses in eng compartment
Wait a few minutes
Turn ignition off
Replace fuses
Did you start the car with the switch on? I've heard sometimes that'll throw a code, but I'm not sure.

Thx for the help guys.
I really dont see how I installed it wrong though, if I did it seems like alot of stuff wouldnt work.
I did however permently remove the cigarette lighter in order to mount the fan switch there.
I will try to reset the comp today and if it still throws a code I will take it to the Zone!

Hey,
It is giving the SES light because the PCM monitors the state of the 2 fan control output signals. When you turn on the manual fan switch the the PCM signal gets pulled to ground. The PCM signal should see at least 5 volts or the SES light will go on.
I have a solution to this problem also. It involves adding 3 resistors and 2 diodes to the manual switch mod. I can send you a wiring diagram if you like. Just send me an email.
