what's the life on the BFG DR's?

 

Well if you dont mind driving on bald tires for a long time you can push a year out of them if you keep burnouts down to a bare minimum. Ive had mine for 3 months and they still havent been worn down to the wear indicator. I wouldnt drive them in the rain after youve had them for a month though. It may be a tradeoff to pay for new tires once a year, but its just for 2. But the traction is well worth it. You cannot drive a stickier street legal tire. When they were first mounted on my car after the stock tiresjust backing out of the parking space at discount tire it litterally felt like the tires were glued to the asphalt.

 

what tires would you guys recommend for the fronts? I'm thinking of the nitto's for the rear (Street radials), but what should I run in the front which will get good traction for cornering, plus get great tread wear.

 

bf goodrich kdws. my neighbor had them on his car, got 55000 miles out of them.

what do u guys think of the Continental Conti Extremes? They are supposed to be an excellent every day tire for our cars. Supposedly the best rated tire for rain and all weather and relatively inexpensive. They are definitely not a track tire. the tire guy is tryin to convince me they are the right ones for my car. Just want to see if you guys know anything about them. Please let me know

 

sounds like crap. They are probably cheap, and hard, but might last a while.
