Hit curb, huge positive camber

Well i jumped the curb a week ago. I went down to have it aligned and the before specs are as follows.

Left
camber: -.03
caster: 6.5
toe: -0.37

Right
camber: 4.1
caster: 7.7
toe: -0.30

Obviously you can tell i hit the right front tire the hardest. I gave the guy some specs for the alignment and he got the left somewhat close but had trouble getting the right side camber down.

Left
camber: -.05
caster: 6.5
toe: -0.01

Right
camber: 2.4
caster: 7.7
toe: -0.01

He said that the camber on the right tire was maxed out and that he thought something might be bent. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be bent. If he lowered the caster to around 4.5 could he get the camber within spec. I am an alignment newbie and have no clue what to look for. I looked around and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Please help

Something is bent. It may also be cracked or weakened, so it's may not be too safe. Have it inspected by someone like a dealer tech. I'm surpised the alignment guy couldn't find the problem.

Is the wheel bent also?

Don't mess with the caster to get the camber: correct the problem.

My best guess is a bent knuckle, maybe near the upper ball joint. Don't try to straighten it, replace it.

thanks for your help. I would rather try to find the bent peice and buy/replace it myself to save big $$ from the dealer, but if i can't find anything bent i will definitely take it in. Yes i bent 2 wheels as i was jumping the curb, blew out 3 tires. anyone else know what might be bent?

I went and checked out my front right suspension and couldn't find any broken or bent peices. My car has a stb, bilstein revalves, eibach pro-kit, and a st 35mm front sway bar. Where exactly should i look for a bent peice. I am trying to save some money and diagnose/fix problem on my own so all the help is appreciated.

Dude, these cars aren't made for jumping curbs. Just kidding. I would try to compare the one side to the other and see if anything jumps out at you that doesn't look the same from side to side. It may not be a hugh bend that would be visible without some close inspection by someone who knows what they are doing. Maybe take it to another shop in the area that has experience with the car beside the dealar and have them take a look at it. You can always take it to the dealer, have the problem diagnosed then repair it yourself also.

If it was as hard of a hit as you make it sound, you may have even tweaked the K member. There are a lot more parts to look at than just control arms. I know that nobody wants to make an insurance claim, but you might want to think about it if you want everything back to original condition and you can't fix it yourself. Then again a new K member and control arms out of a rear ended F body from a junk yard shouldn't run more than a couple hundred bucks. Lots of work but really not too complicated of a job.

i'm thinking the 35mm sway bar endlinks would have broken way before my k-member bent. The 35mm bar is very strong and the way i hit the curb would make me beleive that nothing bad happned past the endlinks (unless they would have broken), so i am looking at the lower a-arm between the wheel and the endlinks. Seems like this would be the part in the middle of two strong peices and most likely to get a little bent.

Anyone else think this?
