Hey guys I wanted to know if this set up would work Hooker Longtubes with a Slp Replacement Ypipe. The reason I can't buy the hooker y pipe is because it can't be used with convertors. I just wanted to see if the two would fit or would I have to look at somethin else if not what set up would you suggest? I want to replace the y pipe, and I figure why not do headers so I've been looking at different longtubes hookers and dynatech are lookin good because of price and I haven;t heard anything bad about them

 

No, you cant use the SLP replacement Y pipe with Hooker LT's. The SLP replacement Y pipe is meant to attach to the stock cats/manifolds. Not longtube headers. Just go to an exhaust shop and have a y pipe with cats fabbed up for you. Chances are they will make a better Y pipe than you could buy off the shelf.
