Exclamation How to adjust Throttle cable

I just bought the BBK TB, and I'm having problems with the Trottle cable with this TB.
Thanks

Is the cable too loose, or what is the problem exactly? If too loose, there coil in a small black clip (cynlinder box) than be used to adjust the tension (though it may not exist on the 98 model).

There have been some problems with BBK TBs sticking terribly - the blade won't open properly.

Question

The BBK seems fine, but when they made it, they didn't think about the spacer which was included with the TB. The spacer moved the TB about 1/2 inch foward, and now the throttle cable can't hit the bump stop(screw). The cable is not too short for the TB. The strange thing is that I can make it hit the bump stop, and fully close the TB. Now if I can only adjust it to do that when I hit the gas pedal.

I'm trying to picture it... is it not closing properly (staying part open) - is that it? You should be able to lengthen the throttle cable.

Thumbs up

Thanks for your replies Cris, but I got. The TB is working fine now. I played with the spring in the throttle cable.
