Boltons, stock clutch,10 bolt with 4.10s and BFG's here. BTW I have roughly 80 launches on my 10 bolt so far with no breaks.
I have a few runs in the 11's.Most of them are 12.0x's

THe real answer is there's NO cheap way to get 430 rwhp. THere's less expensive ways but you'll start tearing up related components. Just be REAL careful with how much/what you spray! But given the choice headers, cut out, cam TR224, nittos

funny thing is once you hit 11's you will want lower 11's or 10's if you plan to race your fbody start with some small performance up grades on the engine and spend the first major money on a 12bolt. I now have a car capable of 10's (heads/cam, headers,4.10's, tuning, pulley, skinnies, et streets, and a 150 wet shot with an NX kit, cartek clutch) but I still have the stock POS 10bolt and don't expect the rear to last through next season

Durs96Ta yeah I sold the Hugger SS. we hated to see her go but we are starting an aftermarket high performance parts and service company and will get another one again someday.

Yeah, thats a tough car to let go. Best of luck to you with the new business. I'm in a car club in NY so let me know once you get your website going, I'll give it to them. As you can see I finally got the SS I wanted, and traded in my T/A.

Well it's an optionless M6 car that has just under a 3400 lbs race weight. It has an FTRA, lid, hooker LT's w/ off road pipe, cutout, 3.73's, pulley and freemods. Keep in mind that those times were at a very $hitty track in 90 deg weather w/ 80 % humidity on nitto's and a stock rear end ( baby launch).

Well my car weighed 3420 with the jack/spare in and half a tank of gas.I dont have leather or a changer either. I am shocked he did it with 3.73's. He must power shift.I do not and I know I am leaving time on the table and I do not have a cutout either. I can try a shortbelt and attempt to squeeze out a few more ponies with some tuning. Also I could do the FTRA but I have heard mixed results from it.
Anyways he has some good times for his mods.Do you know if his nittos are 17's or 16's?Also do you know how many feet above sea level the track is?

I had a friend with a 2001 SS M6 with 3.42s and a 150 shot with true duel exhaust and that was it, no lid, no free mods and ran 11.7s all day.

Quick Reply: How do I get my SS into the 11s??
