These are some sites that sell flamethrower kits. I think they claim they can only be used on older cars but I have seen them on new cars. I'm sure there is some way they can be installed. Hope this helps.

Flames shoot out of my pipes, seriously.

My car is a 00 TA, gutted cats, o2 sims, and a borla catback. In the begining I didn't know why they shot, but now I can control it and shoot flames as I please. The car runs a little rich because of o2 sims or because there is no cats and unburned fuel flows to the tips with exhaust fumes. The only time when it shoots flames (biggest was about 3 feet) is when i take the car to about 3 K rpm in 1st or 2nd gear, let go of the gas pedal and tap it again. Also when power shifting it backfires. Basically it is a backfire which sometimes shoots nice flames ,
My buddy had the same thing going in his camaro untill he got longtubes and an offroad pipe, the car didn't shoot flames anymore just lightly backfired.

Some of guys are serious ***** wads, be curteous and don't post your stupid/negative comments. It is his car, he can do what ever the fu(k he wants to, it's not your car or money.

Anyway, to the original poster ... there are kits available for doing this, as some were helpfull enough to post.

yup, something like that, like i said my buddies driving behind me once told me that about 3 foot flame shot out. Here's another, some people were asking me when they saw my car backfire on the highway couple of times, if it is safe and is my car going to burn down cause of it. Go figure.

Wink

thanks for all the info people, even the negitive crap. I didn't know having flames shoot out the back was "rice" burner crap. I suppose the truth is in the eye of the beholder. I live 1 mile from woodward, and I did see a lot of people shootin flames last year. I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it or not, but I'm thinking about it.
