How to get SS build#
#3
First off, you need to hold your horses, buckaroo. Nobody's going to drop what they're doing to answer YOUR questions. A message board is for people to look around at their liesure and contribute if they have an answer and/or have time to respond.
Here's what you need to do:
Call GM Vintage. They're in Canada. They'll send you a packet of every piece of info they have on both your specific car and Camaro's in general. This will include your build sheet because you need to supply your VIN.
Sorry pal, but I no longer have their phone number, I just looked. Just look in your booklet in your glove box, call one of the toll-free help numbers and they should help you from there if you ask for GM vintage in Canada.

From the way I understand it, there is a GM build # and an SLP build # (which SS you are). To get the SLP # you have to call them and sit on eternal hold while your long distance bill gets larger. Not worth it to me.
