i got my loudmouth put on this past spring and i was afraid it was going to be way to loud.......it was loud to me the first two weeks but after you get used to it, you will wish it was louder....the only bad this is the drone on the interstate...i have a 99 ss with an auto and 323 gears, its not so bad in the summer time when u have ur windows down but when u ride with ur windows up it sucks.....and ive had many people ask me if i was running true straight pipes....people love the sound of it.....my neighbor is kinda old and he came over on day and told me everytime i start my car up it sounds like thunder and it makes him look outside to see if its me or the weather....lol....would i buy this exhaust again or opt for another?....if i had the money i wish i would have had a gmmg chambered exhaust.. http://www.gmmginc.net/html/chamberedexhaust.html
but overall im pleased with my catback.....hope this helped

Loud is headers with no cats and straight pipes. The LM is nowhere near as loud as most think. Its just alot louder then stock and has a much better tone then most other catbacks. Loud is in the ears of the driver. The only folks with a legit grip are you folks with A4s. With a M66 you can pretty much keep the rpms down. In the area I live in theres a 25 MPH speed limit. As soon as im in the gates I just put it in 4th then 6th. Thats 500 rpm no foot on the gas 26mph ,and nothing for anyone to bitch about.
