Need to know how much it cost on average to take ls1 heads to get ported. I will do all labor myself. so i just need someone i can take them to and get them ported. i don't wnat to take it to some fancy performance shop and pay more than i can afford. If possible maybe someone here in Texas.

I have an LT1 but I just got mine done buy a guy named Lloyd Elliott in Red Oak, down by Enis. He charged me $400.00 for the port work, and some for machine work since I went with 2.02 1.60 valves. Do a search for nighttrain66 on the boards and you'll find that he offers advice to everyone without pushing his product. His shop is clean, and he knows what he is doing! I have flow numbers on my web server, and some pictures he sent along! He's not a photographer though!!!!!!

I think lloyd is good for the $ if you dont want to spend much .
