Question How Much More RWHP To Go From 12.8's to 11.8's?

Assuming that hooking up isn't a problem. How much RWHP would I need to add to my car to go from my current 12.8's into mid to high 11's.

I'm just about to add stage II heads, LS6 intake, Cam and Ed Wright computer program. I'm currently running 12.8's where will this new package take me to?

Thanks,

I agree with the last poster. Ballpark 100 rwhp. Depending on whose H/C you go with, in an A4, you should touch the 400 rwhp mark (or be pretty close) and be darn close to the 11's. Though you might be sitting low 12's, IMO.

Cool

It will take less than that if you step up with a looser stall torque converter. You should send your Vig back to be restalled to a 3600. It will match the new setup better since virtually any decent aftermarket cam is going to raise your peak TQ.

With that V3200 you should be able to cut low 1.6x 60s. ... that a couple of tenths of the time right there - it'll take you some suspension work and meater tires.

15" wheels all round with some skinny tires up front will also help.

I don't know what the typical DA is where you are running, but with your mods it seems that there should be a little more mph. Maybe a ported TB or at least the bump stop mod. I assume your running !FRA, have you consider an induction system or the FIPK. If you're not running a cutout, you may want o consider that also.

A little tweaking here and there and you're present setup could be close to 12.5 or better - remember you're going to need all you can get, because once you hit the 11's you will have to turn around and give some of it back with a roll bar.

Good Luck
