Its a very nice mod, you'll be pleasantly suprised what $100 gets ya. I know I was very happy with my MTI lid.
My experience is it makes the exhaust a tad bit louder and response is peppier.

Well, I tested my MTI lid and a few filters.. check out my review in the sig..


as for the ram air, the lid and the gutting of cats.. how did you determine the gain of 30rwhp? did you dyno before and afters for each or are you generalizing?

My opionion would say to keep your stock filter...

I did about 14 pulls on a dynojet to determine the 30rwhp. After each change I would measure the horsepower difference. My cutout lost 2 rwhp when I uncorked it. One thing to remember, these were back to back pulls on the dyno. The computer had no chance to relearn. If I would of say driven it a few miles after each pull the numbers might be larger and the cutout might of actually gained horsepower.

SuperSucker? HEY! you guys arent talking about my girlfriend again, are you? lol j/k! You lost power on your cut out??? WOW when i got mine installed i immediately knew i gained 10rwhp!! It is so far the best mod i have done, Man i still havent got a lid
