i need some help buying tires.
When i was leaving for work this morning, as i was walking towards my car i noticed that it seemed abit lower than usual. I then glanced at my drivers side rear tire and it was flat. damn damn damn.
so im am in need of getting a new tire asap.
A couple of months ago i got a flat on the other rear tire. I when to goodyear and it cost me 380 for one tire. There is no way in hell that i am willing to pay that much again for a single tire. So i need you help guys. i would like to get the same kind of tire a (goodyear275/40ZR17 GS) but at a reasonable price. If anybody knows of a good place online to buy this tire i would be greatful.
Another idea that i have is maybe i should get a different brand (but same quality) tire and buy two of them to replace both of my rear tires. then i would have a extra tire for when i needed it. I have no clue on what tires are good, and what brands are not.
... i dont, know its just a thought.
sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in.
thank you

I've got the Kumho Ecsta Supra 275 40R17 tires. I got them at Discount Tire for around $200 each after mounting, balancing, tax, etc, and I like them a lot better than the stock goodyear tires that were on it. Had them for 12000 miles now...

Wow you got ripped off bad! Use tirerack or at least their prices to bargin with Discount Tire or a Goodyear shop. I have the Goodyear F1's now, they are pretty good. I have had BFG's as well. I hear that dispite Firestones recent rep. the SZ50's are still good. Next I might try the BGF G-force T/A KDW's.
