Installed Plugs.. more problems!

Ok I just spent 3 hours (stupid far passangerside wire!!) replacing my plugs and I noticed they all have oil around the threads.. now I don't believe that is normal, so I finish and check my oil, it's 1 or 2 quarts HIGH! so I drain the oil filter 3 times and it's still 1 or so quarts High! I went to an oil change place and my buddy said he put 5 and 3/4's into the car and he checked it and it looked fine.. now I noticed also my Oil pressure needle as been jumping slightly on and off.. and my car has been ******* alot. What is my diagnosis.

Well, it sounds ignition related if the car misses and then dogs when you get on it. Were the electrodes on the new plugs clean when you put them in? Also, the multiple electrode (+2, +4) as far as I've heard, are just a sales gimmick. I run the AC Delco single electrode platinum plugs, and it runs fine.

Good luck with it, man. Sorry I can't help more.

Are you sure what you thought was oil on the plug threads was'nt Anti-seeze. When I added N20 to my car, I removed the
NGK's and installed Autolite 103's. The Anti-seeze I put on earler
looked like oil on the treads. ???

Good luck. That #8 plug isn't too hard to get to from underneath. If you've already tried that and still can't really get to it, there's only 5 bolts holding the catalytic in place. Drop it and you'll be amazed how easy it is to change the plug.
