Mark,
Don't ever be disappointed by dyno number comparisons.
Point in case....................check my sig.
I'll bet there are a lot of cars out there that dyno more than my measley 312hp that don't run the numbers that I do at the track!!!!
Dyno numbers are only good to compare your car before and after mods.

No worries. It seemed that since you decided to go into detail about my signature (with the red highlight and everything), maybe I should go into even more detail about the specifics of it. Thanks though, I guess.

but just wanted to type less. red was shorter..
I often disect sigs.. i feel it helps new members and lurkers understand that some mods arent really mods.. just a way of spreading more information

I go to the track a lot, 350+ passes in 3 years. (and that's on the origional 4L60E) And I document everything. I take a weather station with me. I can pull in, get the weather station out and tell you within a half of a tenth what I will run. Most days I run within a few hundredths of my dial.

I was at Stanton, MI alt ~700ft
temp 45°
humidity 50%
Baro 31.2
There's a guy in the drag race section with a bolt on LT1 that ran 11.s. The DA was -1900ft.

I think you would not see times like that here.. even though we are near sea level.. http://www.houstonraceway.com is our local track..
