A couple of people have already told me that I don't need them. The wires are Taylor's by the way. Anyways, I tried fitting my old heat shields onto the Taylor's and they wouldn't EVEN fit.. So are the Taylor's OK without shields??

What size wires are they? The heat shields went easily over my 8mm Taylors.

 

I did not put them on my Taylor Thundervolts and have had no problems so far.

 

They are 8mm Spiro Pro's. But what year is your car?? Maybe 2001 heat shields are smaller??
