Just rolled my fender lips.

Just rolled my fender lips.
I thought I would write about my experience, cause there seems to be a lot of people who ask about this topic. Well I just got 315 put on the rear of my 1.5" dropped Z28. On my drive back home both of them were cut. Thank god they are still usable. Anyways I decided it was time to roll the fender lips out. So after some research I went and bought a cheap wooden baseball bat then I stuck the bat in between the tire and the fender lip at the 9 o clock position. Then while I pushed the bat handle down I made my wife reverse the car slowly, when the bat had rolled all the way to the 3 o clock position I made her drive forward, while I kept pushing the handle down as hard as I could, after doing this process for about 6 times I was left with a fender lip that went from being at a 90 degree angle to maybe 20 degree, plus I also think the whole fender well moved a little bit out and up giving me additional clearance. There were no visible paint chips or any other damage so I am extremely pleased. I recommend this process to any one looking to roll their fenders. Now I think I will take come clear coat and as a precautionary measure paint the rolled fender lip to prevent any rust damage.

Sounds like a good idea, though alot could go wring in the situation if not careful. Glad everything came out good for you and getting everything covered so you dont get problems with paint down the road is a good idea.

Yup same way I did mine last year, the old proven cheap way.
Side Note: Put a towel over the baseball bat before you start rolling it. Gets in the way alittle, but it doesn't leave any scratches or paint cracks.
