I did a search and couldn't find anything on this subject. What is the limit that the LS1 springs will handle without coil bind? I am installing a cam on my 3800 and will have a lift of .540, that is a little much for the limit on the V6 springs. Thanks for the help.

 

The stock springs float the valves with stock lift as it is id say .500 lift at about 5800-6200

 

Just get a set of aftermarket springs.
