Lifting the car

I have looked at many camaros and lifted mine several times. I have noticed on friends cars after lifting the car on the frame were the jack points are the frame caves in, and is not uniform anymore. This is the point in the front and the rear were the sfc's would connect is this normal, and if it has happen is fixable or a problem.
thanks.
