Long Tubes??

i believe the long tubes will will more up on high end of the tach, and the shorties like to make more low or mid-range power. i take in to consideration your current or future head/cam selection. where will your shift points be?

thats not right....


long tubes make more mid range power....

a good set of mids or shortys will make more peak Hp....up in the 7,000 range

I had MAC mid-lengths and was very pleased with them on a bolt-on only car. Now that I have heads/cam, I went to LTs to take advantage of the added airflow. Only shorties will work with your stock-length Y-pipe. However, since you are running an off-road pipe it would seem that emissions aren't an issue, so why not go to at least mid-lengths?
