Well the day is finally here! It is about time to go and buy a new Z28! I'm going to to my local dealer on Monday and search his computer and get what I want (if I can find it). I'm looking for pretty much a base model Z28 without many options. But most I have seen have some options so I might be stuck. I really want the 6 speed for the fuel economy because I do alot of highway traveling (thats right, want a Z28 for the fuel economy). If I find one with leather I would really like the tan leather. But whatever. I live in the Southeast so if you know any dealers with alot of Zs left, or maybe just a small dealer with only one car, please let me know so I can give it a home, ha! I'm going up to Bowling Green tommorow to the show but also to stop by the Camaro tour truck to get my $1,000 coupon. I will ad it to the rebate to give me $4,000 off. Plus I think i'm eligble for the $400 college grad rebate, but we'll see. So guys help me out if you don't mind and give me the MSRP of the new '01 or '02 Camaros you bought along with the deal you got (you know, the final price). I just want to get a ball park of what things look like right now. Thanks!

You can check the new dealer inventory in your area from your computer. Goto http://gmbuypower.com. You can put in the vehicle you are interested in, model and your zip code. Find a dealer without any cars and then request a search for nearby dealers. This can show you up to 50 cars in nearby dealers (Upto about 50 miles away). Need bigger search radius. Change Zip codes.

I have used this very successfully to find several cars for myself & others.

Hey thanks! Thats the exact info I was looking for. I'm going to check that car out! Yeah i've used gmbuypower.com before, but it is hard to find what you want. You can enter Atlanta or Nashville but there could be dozens of dealerships in between that never show up. But i'm going to look for that dealership. It sounds like my car! If anyone has any others, please post!

I looked under that Oklahoma City dealer and it listed two white Z28s for $27K. I noticied you said the car you are talking about had no power windows, locks or cruise. Do you remember the sticker price? Those are some good options. I just can't find the car.
