Low 10 sec LS1?
I have a long term goal for my car. When I am done with school and have a good job and house, I want to make my TA a low 10 sec car.
This is not my daily driver, nor will it ever be. I am using it for shows and nice day cruises only, so It wont have to be too much street friendly, but on the other hand, still legal.
I also want to take it to the track often and not brake it. (quarter mile)
So, since everyone here is moding there car to hell and back, can you guys advise me on how you would do this the right way?
Where to start? suspension, Drivetrain?
What do you recommend in what order and so on.
If you had to do it over, what would you have done differently?

Holy Loaded Question
With people running 10s on motor, spray, blower and turbo, its going to be personal preference there. If you have the time to build up and dont want to break as you go, start with drivetrain, then suspension, then power mods.
Build up the tranny, get a 12 bolt or 9inch and a new driveshaft. Move on to the subframe connectors, LCAs, panhard bar, relocation brackets, shocks and springs, torque arm. Bulk up the fuel system and ignition. Safety equipment (roll cage, driveshaft loop, 5pt harnesses, etc etc) Then pull the motor, you can get fair priced forged parts, get some AFR heads, all picked for the appication you want, throw in the machine work while you are there
Ofcourse you could run 10s without some of the stuff on that list, and if you want to race in the meantime you can change up the order of that (ex. t-56 wont break on most applications but some SFCs and LCAs would be a nice to have fairly soon). but if I was being careful and had the time to build a show/strip car, Id probably follow that line of thought
