Lowering Question

Do I have to buy a adjustable panhard rod if I am going to lower my car 1.5 in?

The panhard rod needs to be changed to an adjustable because the rear end is no longer properly aligned with the stock rod. hope this helps

You don't really NEED to, but it helps. I figure if you want to lower it and do it totally right, you should get an adjustable panhard rod, new shocks, and get new lower control arms with relocation brackets. If you have 17 inch (or greater) wheels, you should also get bump steer tie rod ends.

When I did mine, the only thing I used was a Lakewood adjustable panhard ($99 from Jegs). The only reason I got it was because I was told I would need to have it. When all was said and done, all adjusted in, the thing was the exact same length as the stock panhard and worked perfect. I guess as far as adjustability went I didn't really need it as it was the same length as stock... but I am not complaining either, because the car seems to handle a little better with it.
What are "bump steer tie rod ends"? I have 17" rims and don't have those... Am I doing something wrong?

You're definitely not doing anything wrong, but to be completely thorough (and somewhat ****) about it, bump steer tie rod ends are available.
