Can I get 1" lowering springs for my car without having to change the shocks too?

Hotchkis springs lower the car only an inch I believe, I want to run long tubes later and I think 1 inch is low enough with them hanging down, you can buy them from Summit racing for $219.95.

Ours lowers a little more than an 1" approx. 1.3". I also run long tubes on my SS and have no problems. If you're interested, hit me up with an email. Our springs are currently $155 + shipping.

Ok, but can the stock shocks handle the 1" drop? Or will I be bottoming out on things because the shocks are too soft thereby making the car "bounce"

I have the DMS springs with the stock DeCarbon shocks right now and they are too soft... causes the car to feel bouncy when coming up after a bump. It doesn't bottom out or anything, just feels like it comes up really high after a bump. Hard to describe. The stocks will work for a while, but you will definately want to get some better ones. It's only a problem when you are going over 'wavy' type bumps (one bump after another and they are slow bumps, not sudden ones).
