Re: ls1 air lid

Hey all -

I'm looking to get a lid for my '99 SS as well - is this one better than the others out there? I've also seen lids from Whisper, SLP and Granatelli , and a ridiculously expensive wide-open setup from K&N.

Does the K&N flow any better, or are all of these pretty much the same?

Another question - my car came with the factory SLP high performance exhaust - is it worth changing that, or am I getting flow similar to that of the popular aftermarket systems?

What other easy mods would you all recommend to add a little more snap to this already quick car?

Thanks in advance.

This lid caught my eye because of the article i read at www.motorsporttech.com.....it seems to be one of the best
