LS1 brake question.

I'm doing the LS1 brake conversion.

Will a regular high grade bolt fit into the caliper to bolt it to the steering knuckle?

Anyone know what length I would need?

How far into the caliper does the bolt go?

The best way to do this is buy the spindle, caliper, hubs, pads and line and line bracket from a boneyard. I got mine for $250 on ebay.

The rotors needed turning but a bud did that in autoshop for me.

Go buy the bolts from a GM dealer and you will be OK or test fit it and measure but use grade 8 bolts.

The trick is to use the ls1 lines and use the ls1 bracket also, otherwise you need to bend the lt1 bracket to make the lines flex properly.
