I was wondering how many horsepower the stock LS1 block and rotating assembly can handle? thanks

 

ATI, the company that makes the Prochargers, offers a 7 pound kit that is good for about 500 at the wheels. Which is like 600 at the flywheel, and they claim it is reliable horsepower. So take that for what it is worth. This question may be able to be answered better in the forced induction section.

 

ive seen over 600hp with stock blocks with stock cranks..

quite a few around now..
