LS1 LM Dyno Video

I took my Z-28 down to Abacus racing in VA Beach today for three baseline pulls. It was hot and muggy, but it still went well. My buddy Eric was doing some wideband tuning and put down put down 354 HP with his '94 LT1 (Cam/heads/LT/Custom Y pipe, other mods!) People have asked to hear the LM under load, here ya go! My mods are in the sig.

Your buddy must have a mild setup. Hotcam? Lots of LT1 guys are putting close to that number with just full bolt ons and a big cam. Your car sounds niiiice.

I was happy with it, especially since the guy before me was a juiced 4.6 Mustang that pulled 300 RWHP. It was even better when the dyno tech said "pretty good, more than enough to take that spraying Mustang!"

Very nice numbers Ed! I'm hoping for somilar numbers once I get the chance to dyno my Z again. We have very similar setups.

Is this the first time you dynoed or did you do a bone stock pull as well?

Here is a loud one! This is Eric's LT1 running LT's into dual open cutouts! I am going to run at Dinwiddie this saturday, I am hoping for some good times! I don't think the LM sounds bad on a stock LS1. Once I go the LT and Y pipe route I know I'll need Borla or something a bit quieter!

he made the comment about the mustang cause he doesnt like them never the less good numbers when i ran mine at abacus it only had the lid, K&N and a 3 inch exhaust with no muffler. and mine did 300hp and 330 lbs torque the guys name is Shad and he is into hondas you would never believe it but he has a civic with 400 hp i think and his buddy terry has one with over 500 they are some sick *** imports and the thing is they look completely stock no ricer bs i have to give them respect on that but anyways nice numbers man.

Yeah man, his Honda was out front (white and orange) He had ran it the night before with 30lbs boost and pulled like 450 at the wheels! (He showed me the dyno sheet) It didn't look stock now, big slicks and a huge turbo on the grill! He said they run it in the middle of the night so it is cooler. He is running 10's he said. Nice guy, and I do respect his Honda! (Also, my wife drives a VTEC )

It is trailer mounted. I thought they were going to run it at that angle and I was ready to back out, then they lifted it level! I'd hate to see a car drop off that ramp too!
