also i will have exaust, headers, intake, comp programmer and other bolt-ons

and what is the diff with the ls6 if i did a swap is the short block the same or diff as well

also with that stated above what should an et be on that in the 11's or no?

Ok i am not sure about exact numbers but here are my 2 cents one since you have a v6 now get a ls1 and learn the car and be smart with it then when your use to the hp and car give it a year or so then mod it. as far as the ls6 the block is stronger but your not gonna get any more hp out of it then you would a ls1. a good heads cam combo and still be street legal are right around 400rwhp with good heads if you wanted radicle you could get closer to 450 rwhp but that would not be a good idea if you plan on an everyday driver and not getting in trouble with police and inspections.... with a good heads and cam expect around 400 rwhp n/a and you should be more then happy.

The LS6 is almost the same only with slightly modified heads/cam, a better intake manifold, and a different type of ECU. I don't know much about modifying LS1s but you should be around your goal with an H/C combo.

I work at Total Engine Airflow, which is a supporting vendor of this site. We CNC port heads, we are doing a lot of LS1 stuff right now. I have a package that will put you in the 11's no prob and dyno around 420-440 on a stick car. Let me know if I could be of any assistance to you. The price on the package is $2100 if you have cores if not it's $2400.
