How could someone trun an LS1 into an LS6? Is it even possible? If so what do I have to do to make my engine an LS6? THX

well the LS6 uses a different block but basically you could use ur LS1 block and switch to LS6 cam, heads and intake.... i woudlnt do it though just because if your gonna do a head and cam swap u should just go for stuff that makes more power......

I converted mine to LS6. From preliminary tests, I'd say the upgrade (cam, heads, intake) is worth around 50 rwhp.

The car is now 1/2 second, 5 mph quicker in the 1/4 mile. And that's on stock manifolds.

I was thinking about that too, then I said to myself "hmmm, how bout no scott!" I have a ls6 block and intake. I was like well i'll just get the heads and cam, then after thunking, i saw the light and saw much better cam/head packages.
