Ok I just ordered an LS6 intake manifold for my 2000 SS. I want to know everything Im going to need for a smooth installation. Ive been seeing some things about coolant pipes, and maybe an egr block off. So if someone can give me some tips, explanation, and possibly links. Thanks in advance!!

You'll need to get the coolant pipes from a dealership.

 

I just got my coolant pipes from Texas Speed. I was going to go through Thunder Racing, but they are in Louisiana, and I dont know how the are doing after the Hurricane. Hopefully everything is OK. WOW! what a mess.

 

Where did you get your EGR blockoff plate?

 

You can easily make your own block off plate out of a small piece of steel bar someone on here sells them i cant remeber who though

 

FWIW: I'm sure Thunder is up and going. I'm about 12 miles down the road from them.
