It is entirely possible, and actually, in the new issue of GM High Tech Performance, they talk about how GM Performance Parts shoehorned an LS7 into a camaro of theirs. Not sure of the year.... but if I remember correctly it was a '00. As for what you would need, it's a pretty extensive list, and would definitely cost a pretty penny. If you can find it, I would pick up that issue of GMHTP, it will help you learn quite a bit.

Hope I was of a little help.

Edit: Here's a link to the article I am talking about.

If you want it for bragging rights to say you have an LS7, maybe it is what you want. But for the money, you could spend it on other built engines and end up with comparable power if not more. I am sure there would be more than 1 support vendor who would help quote you a price.

But to make it work... alot of $$$$

Well money is not a problem and the reason i want it is because a have an LS7 and a 2002 Camaro and i want to put it in there, and the only reason is becuase the LS7 is GMs most powerful stock small block and also i am going to have a custom twin supercharger set up but i was just wondering if the LS7 could actually fit in the egine bay and wouldnt need any exterior body modifications like widen the egine bay or the body

People need to understand ALL gen III/IV blocks are the same exterior dimentions. From the 327 cube 4.8 to the 427 cube LS7 the difference in cubic inches is internal.
The hitch with the LS7 is the dry sump oil system pan and hoses will require you to go with a tubular Kmember.
And as far as the hp ratings of the LS7 yes it's the highest hp STOCK gm motor but you can easily build an LS2 to that hp level for way less money. Heck my little 346 heads/cam combo puts out near those numbers.

This topic gets talked about it seems like on a weekly basis on LS1 tech. It seems to me. you can build a really mean LS1 ie. head cam turbo if you wish. and come out with the same number for less than its going to cost to get your hands on an LS7 and get it in the car.

Well, if you already have the LS7 and a Camaro to put it, I say go for it.

You can get the LS7 moded too just like a Ls2 and get MORE HP, (lot more)but its all on the money, technology costs a pretty damn penny.

Where did you get your LS7? i'd love to see one one the streets instead of just a test vehicle, that'd be sick.

GMHTP LS7 into '99 Camaro
The best part of that article...

Though the flat black paint and black Z06 rims try to keep this puppy low-key, the exterior, replete with SS hood and rear spoiler and enhanced by the ballsy GMPP TEST VEHICLE graphics on the doors and rear LS7 badge, is about as understated as a kick to the jimmy.
The whole trans issue they had is why I don't care for Centerforce DF clutches. I 99.9% sure the clutch hydraulics (ie the slave cylinder) aren't strong enough to handle that clutch...especially on a '99 vehicle running the unrevised hydraulic parts. I had the exact same problem with my '99 before I went back to an LS6 clutch. I'd be curious to see how that car does with a refreshed trans, updated hydraulics/drill mod, and a Textrilla/Spec/McLeod clutch setup. I bet they'd have no problem getting an 11.8~11.9 out of it.

You don't know whether the engine will fit and you are taking on the project AND adding TWIN superchargers? You must have money falling out of every orefice! Seriously, if you already have the motor and it is a dream of yours, do it. Just bear in mind that you could have a seriously sick engine built off a regular LSx block for much less cash and hassle.
