Die out? well the aftermarket is pretty much slowed to a halt for new lt1 parts but im sure that there will be parts for it years from now

I thought I remember hearing that the ls1 was a slightly taller engine (overall) than the lt1. That was the reason for the front end change in 1998. I dont know though. It cant be that big of a difference if people have done it. Anyone have any insight on this?

only way i would do the swap is if i could get an ls7 cause a 427 would put a big grin on my face
