it varies.. get on a dyno to find out exactly where yours is maxed so you known when to shift...
I shift just after it starts to fall before redline..
usually at about 5800-6000 according to the tach but it may not be the most exact...
13.1@108 bone stock.. so I must be shifting right..

There's a pretty significant variance from one completely stock LS1 to another. 5600rpm is the factory spec, and that will be close, but the only way to know for sure is to get on a dyno.

So is he. The only way to know for sure is to dynotest it, but I would bet the factory numbers are pretty close.
