The stock pads are actualy very good pads. Go to the dealer and see how much they want for a set.

As far as brake dust they are good. But at a few autoxs they shake my car pretty bad when they get hot. The ones I have now don't.

Understand the Catch 22, if something dusts extremely
low its hard and its not going to improve braking.
Running Auto X I think that should be a main priority.

With that said, I have the Hawks. Dust a little
LESS than stock while greatly improving braking.
I saw a test once that showed them to stop only
5 ft longer from 70 or 80 compared to an entire
Baer setup-calipers,rotors etc...

Even better fronts and rears will cost you less
than just the OEM fronts. I've had mine for a year
and experience little noise or seeing any signs of wear.

I autocrossed competitively all year on stock pads. Any more brakes and our cars axle hop on extreme braking.

I use race pads for road racing, but OEM for everything else. I have tried a number of "performance" pads over the years, and they all make noise and/or dust badly, and some do not provide as much braking as stock pads

I use the Raybestos ceramic pads. If you go to CarQuest and get the CarQuest Ceramic pads, you're buying Raybestos in a CarQuest box.

No dust ... no squeal ... great stops. Oh, and did I mention that they have a lifetime replacement warranty? It's the last set of pads you'll ever buy.
