Im helpin my friend he has a 2000 camaro ss 6-speed we are takin the moter out to have some stuff done to it we think we got all the bolt and stuff out the moter moves but will not pull out if someone can tell me what i am doing wrong it will help me out alot

 

It goes out the bottom.

 

You can pull it out of the top it just takes more finagling. If its not pulling out you obviously don't have something disconnected. Look around more.

 

I thought they had to be droped out tranny and all? i dont know for sure never done it but thats just what ive seen on hp tv.

 

The bottom is the easier way to go in most cases but it's not always needed to be like that. The cowel just makes it a bitch to come out from above.

 

You can pull them from the top. Its not hard.

 

thanks there was a bolt on the back of the moter that we coulent see then we had to give it a lil tug and it came out. I found out it could come out the bottom after we got it out but it was not that bad to come out the top so thanks everyone
