I can get painless kits, but lets discuss the use of the car and what you are wanting to accomplish.

Do not scrimp on the TC, this will make or break the results, on the street and track.

To do the front conversion, start looking for the parts on different websites. Lots of cars get hit in the rear or side and the front is just fine...

Cool

the car will be street driven but not a daily driver, probably a weekly driver, also i was planning on using the stock corvette computer and hp tuners, if not i can get a ls1camaro computer or the camaro stock lt1 computer,i'm planning on ls2, cam, intake fuel rail, tb, and about 300 hp shot, also headers and cutouts for the track, i'm also planning on using drag radials(315/35/17)or 26x11.5x15 on weld racing wheels or greg welds,it will be lightened but will retain most of it's interior and will have a roll bar and radio.

If you have ALL of the LS2 stuff it makes it easier, dont forget the gas pedal. B/c they are drive by wire.

This is correct, you will need an LS1 computer, and depending on the CPS on the crank it might need something else, i looked into the LS2 with LS1 PCM but after all the stuff I had to change it was not worth it for me and I can not recall what all is needed.

It would be easier to get the fbw set up and use the LS2 stuff.

But if you want a painless kit let me know.

IF you get the pedal assembly for the drive by wire. the LS2 PCM does not have the ability to control 'things' without the 'dbw' stuff.
