need new injector clip/plugin/harness...can I use an lt1 part?
Hey guys,
Trying to help my cousin fix her z28 ('98) with cold start issues...turns out she had a couple of mice nest on the valvecover and chew the insulation off the #4 injector plugin, just behind the clip that goes into the injector. She has no money for a new harness now. I have an lt1 part car, was thinking of cutting off one injector plug and cutting her chewed one off, and soldering the new one (just those two wires). This should be a good enough repair, correct? ... i work with electronics a lot, I can solder it well and make sure its 100% insulated. I just wanted to make sure it would be ok before I started cutting my lt1 parts harness, or, her existing one.
Thanks a lot guys.
