I had MSD's on my LT1, good quality. I would recommend them.

Both are good. I use MSD because I have had good luck with them.

I like the Taylor Thundervolts. Looks like I'm gonna go with them when I do the plug & wire swap this spring.

Don't mean to detour the topic, but what about pros/cons of plugs? Which ones are best & how often do they need replaced?

Copper TR55's, Iridiums, etc.???

Also...FYI - Did a little looking around and it seems our sponsor Speed Inc. has some of the best pricing on wires & plugs.

Just tuned up mine 2 weeks ago, used MSD 8.5 superconductor wires,(red), and NGK iridium plugs.Got them through Summit racing, the wires were only $40,comes in red or black, the plugs were $5.99 each, although you can go with reg NGK plugs for around $2 each,I think.I think the Taylors might have been a little more.FYI,I priced the Denso iridiums elsewhere,Summit doesn't carry them,& they were around $12-15 EACH !! P.S. Have fun with plug # 8,LOL

Bosch +2 plugs and Taylor 10.6mm at $60, overkill but hey, its good.

(I needed wires badly the same day and the LS1speed had them on hand, so drove over and got some )

I got TR55 iridium plugs (so they dont have to be changed as often) and the taylor thundervolt wires. Expensive but quality.
