I am the original owner of a lovely, 1999 six speed, LS1 Camaro. Tho it is fairly high mileage, until a few days ago, it was in as new condition. That is because I am old and easy on it plus most of the miles were interstate cruising.
A few days ago I noticed a little vapor in the exhaust and found I was down a quart or two on coolant. This is a car that in ten years never needed coolant added. Probably I have a head gasket issue as there is no coolant on the floor.
A few years back I would have fixed it myself, but I really can't do that anymore.
It has only gone a few miles in this condition, and it has not overheated or any of that bad stuff.
I need a lead to a high class shop in southwestern Los Angeles which can deal with this problem. I am more interested in good work than minimum cost.
