I am 22 and I just got a quote for a 97 C5 vette. It came out to $139 a month for full coverage. I only pay $98 a month for full coverage on my 95 Z. I go through state farm and have a multi car multi line discount.

23,000 for a fully loader Z28? I dont think so. I Used the GMS discount for GM workers and 2002 cash cash back. I have an almost fully loaded Z28 i dont have the 12 disk or Hurst the only 2 optnios i dont have, and i wish i could have paid 23,000. At GMS i got the car under dealer cost and used the cash back. Unless you work or have family that works for GM. You cant get a better price on one then GMS price. Base price on a Z28 is 23,000 with no options. I think you may have got V6 for that price.

Anyways, Nice car take car of it welcome to the club now go kill some mustangs

Trust me it can be done I picked up my fully loaded all options except 12 disc (all power including 3.23 and ASR) sticker $26,980. I paid out the door tax, tag/title $23,7xx 0% for 60 months, car had 12 miles on it when I drover her home (when I test drove the car it had 3.7 miles on it). I purchased my 01 Z28 10/4/02.

A new Z28 fully loaded except for the SS package or the sport appearance package comes to 29,200 sticker MSRP. But you should be able to get it closer to 27,500. That's before any rebates. Subtract rebates and add tax and you get a loan amount around $29,500 with nothing down.

I bought my SS Vert back in May for 33,675. I had $2,000 in GM Cash Back and $1,000 rebate from Camaro Legends tour. That means $30,675 for a Vert SS.

88 Camaro - FOR SALE
License plate - STRKIN (STROKIN was taken of course)

T350 trans (just rebuilt - 4/1/02) - shifts very hard.
373 rear.
Eibach(type) springs
Stiff sway bars Front & Rear
Air shocks in rear
Edelbrock Torker II Manifold
Edelbrock Performer 600CFM carb (w/tune kit)
Mallory 4309 Fuel pressure regulator.
shorty headers into true duals into two big flowmasters under the bumper into your face

When I start my car in the morning, my neighbors DO think the world is coming to an end!

man, you guys are cut throats, no-wonder gm is stopping production, you all are making me feel bad for paying 23,000 for my 2001 TA. If i would have known that they give away brand new cars for $23,000 i would have got a 2002. ofcourse i think most of you guys are full of crap anyway.

Whenever I hear someone throw out a price like "$24,000 fully loaded!" for a a new Z28, they DON't say how much they are paying in intrest.

Sure the dealer dropped the price to 24K for the car, but they raped you on the intrest rate of 17.9% for 60 months (5 year loan) Do the math and figure out what the person really did pay for the car.

The dealer made a lot more that 24K on that car and at best, you may have saved about a hundred dollars on local taxes since he dropped the price, but still he made an extra couple of grand on the car because of the intrest rate.

I shopped around and got 6.49% for 5 years for my 2001 V6 Camaro. This was about 8 months before Sept 11th.

My V6 5-speed is fully loaded with EVERYTHING (y87,leather,monsoon + 12disc) and I paid 19,200. Payments are 347.00 a month. I special ordered this car to get the GMO (not GMS) price, and the Monterey Maroon Metallic paint. Its cheaper if you order the car (GMO) rather than buy out of dealer stock (GMS). Ofcourse you have to have a family member employed by GM corperate to get the GMO or GMS pricing.

I have a friend who bought a 02' Cavilier who had no credit at all and he paid around 18K for the car and was had a 5 year loan at 17.7%!!!!!!!!! Payments are 400 a month! He has no idea how bad the dealer raped him on that purchase. I didn't have the heart to tell him how bad he got shafted.

LOL... well, if it makes you feel any better, I just bought my '02 Z28. I've got NO coupons and I took the 0% instead of the $3k. He gave it to me for $700 over invoice which I thought was a fair profit. I don't know where these guys are buying cars at under dealer cost because that simply means they are accepting the fact that they are going to take a loss on the car. Dealers just don't stay in business long to take losses on cars... that's the job of consumers when we trade 'em in. ;-)

I got a 3.9% rate through GMAC for 60 months.
17.7% interest sounds like organized crime.

Hey where are those pics?
