Newbie w/ question!!
Hey everybody, just got a 00 Z28 about a month ago and did the free ram air mod, skip shift elminator, and the EGR mod, just curious if anybody has the SLP loudmouth exhaust, I am planning on ordering it if I get good reviews, I will be getting the LM with the centered mounting piece or whatever, the VETTE lookalike I guess. I think it would look bad@$$, nobody around here has it, that i've seen anyway, so what does everyone think about it?

Well first off.. welcome to the board and congrats on the car. I dont have the LM myself, but a lot of people I have heard do have them and they basically all like them. I can not recall a bad comment off the top of my head.

I don't personally have the LM but I have heard it on a number of cars. Just from what I have seen/heard on the street and on this page...
I personally don't want the loudmouth. For me its a little to raspy and rough sounding at wide open throttle. But it is damn loud and for somebody who wants that "watch out here i come, I'm a bad mother" sound, its a good exhuast. I personally like the sound of smoother exhuast of my stock ss BUT i wish it was louder.
A cheaper route that people say offers the same sound would be the "Dyno Mouth". What people do is buy a Dyno Bullet muffler and have the stock muffler cut off and the bullet welded in its place. Its supposed to offer the same sound for quite a bit less. I think 60 buck for the muffler and say 100 to install. Do a search on the board and you will see tones of stuff as well as some sound clips and pics. Just search for "Dyno Mouth" I have never heard this (other than sound clips) so it your choice.
